Basic Interwrite Functions

Imagine being able to walk around your classroom and display what you are writing on a sheet of paper as if you were using an overhead or document camera. This piece of technology can do just that. Interwrite is a program that works with a high tech pad that is linked to your computer. By using this pad you can be anywhere in the room giving a lesson and be able to display what you are writing instantly to then board. This is great for displaying problems and having the children show their work. This tool is not for just free hand writing. It can be used a lot like a power point lesson. You are able to set up pages of materials for the students to read and complete. When complete they can solve the problem on the display in front of the whole class while sitting at their seats. This device comes standard with certain tools that range from the pen to a gallery of images that can be used for your lessons as well. It enables you to draw circles perfectly on the stop. Anything you can do on a white board or overhead projector can be done with this device with the right set up an more. I hope that this is an intriguing incite on what the Interwrite can do for your classroom and that it leaves you wanting to know more. If so, there will be more to come.
